At Attentive Eye Care Optometry, we only recommend contact lenses that are the newest and latest in contact lens technology. If you are currently wearing or are interested in wearing contact lenses for the first time, please don't hesitate to ask the doctor about your contact lens options.

As is the required standard of care since contact lenses sit on your eyes which increases the risk for potential eye infections and problems, it is extremely important that all contact lens wearer have their eyes examined EVERY YEAR to check the health of the eyes and to determine if the eyes are even healthy enough to continue wearing contact lenses. Additionally, it is recommended that all contact lens wearer come in for a contact lens follow up every 6 months.

Once it's determined from the comprehensive eye exam that the eyes are healthy enough to start wearing or continue wearing contact lenses, then a contact lens fitting and evaluation is required to be completed. It is during this contact lens fitting and evaluation that the discussion and determination of what is the best contact lens available which will meet all of the patients' needs so they can see clearly and comfortably takes place.

In this office, we only fit patients with contact lenses that are the newest and latest in contact lens technology. The contact lenses that the office use allow much more oxygen to the patients' eyes than previous types of contact lenses which can suffocate the eyes.
